WOTEC

Waste Oil To Energy Converter

Model 15C. compact

Developed by: Global Energy Recovery Corporation

What does the machine do?

The WOTEC provides a FREE gallon of diesel fuel or heating oil for every gallon of used oil processed.

Sounds incredible? How does it do that?

The WOTEC does this through a patented technology called Static Mixing. It first filters the used oil through a primary 6 micron, depth media filter. Then through a secondary 4 micron depth media filter. The used oil is then blended with raw diesel fuel at 1.5% used oil to 98.5% raw diesel fuel. It is then pumped through the static mixer which emulsifies the oil with the diesel fuel adding lubricity and raising the BTU’s of the fuel.

The blended fuel is then pumped through a final 3 micron coalescing filter which removes 99+% of coalesced and free-standing water!

The end product is a cleaner, better burning, dehydrated, well lubricated, in addition to more environmentally friendly fuel which exceeds Caterpillar on and off road fuel specifications as well as prolong the life of your equipments fuel injection systems and filters. The blended fuel also helps reduce exhaust emissions as the added BTU’s burn more of the fuel efficiently.

What kinds of used oil can the machine process?

The WOTEC processes various used oils including used crankcase oil, hydraulic oil, gear oil, transmission fluid, cutting oil, some cleaning, and cooking oils as well.

Is it hard to operate?

Not at all! The WOTEC system does not require extensive highly skilled maintenance procedures, expensive filters, or highly skilled operators. The WOTEC system was designed for remote applications with visual diagnostics that can be operated with a simple knowledge of the basics of the machine.

Does it create any hazardous waste that has to be disposed of?

The only after products are used oil and fuel filters, which can be incinerated leaving only the metal supports and mesh.

Surely there is maintenance involved?

The only maintenance involved is greasing the main fuel pump bearing and changing the filter elements when necessary.
